First Day School starts September 20th

New students are welcome to join us! Students do not need to attend First Day School every single week. Our lessons are structured so that you can attend as your schedules permit. Though we are very happy when students join us more frequently.

First Day School officially begins at 11:15am. All students join in Silent Worship from 11:00am-11:15am, and then we proceed to our classroom area and break up into two groups, younger students from 5-9 years old. The older group is aged 10 and above. The lessons are completed around noontime.

This year we have learned about:
· Isaiah (Fall)
· Religious Festivals (Holiday)
· Margaret Fell and Elizabeth Fry (Winter)

In the spring we will turn our thoughts to:
· Nurturing through Nature
· What it means to be Quaker

Please note: First Day School may not be held during inclement weather, if there is too much snow for our families to travel to Albany.
